1. Order Fulfilment
LinguisticaPro Bookshop sells books and related products that may be fulfilled in different ways depending on availability and destination.
Orders may be:
• shipped from our own stock, where available
• shipped directly by a publishing or distribution partner
• prepared or printed specifically for your order
• shipped from different fulfilment locations depending on the product
Orders may therefore ship from locations within the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, or other regions.
If your order contains multiple items, they may arrive in separate shipments.
2. Processing Time
Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days.
In some cases, processing may take longer, for example when:
• an item is prepared specifically for your order
• an item is sourced from a supplier
• an item is fulfilled from a different region
You will receive an order confirmation email after purchase and a dispatch confirmation email once your order has been shipped.
3. Shipping Times
Delivery times depend on the destination country, shipping method, and fulfilment location.
Many books are produced and shipped locally within major regions such as the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States, which typically results in faster delivery.
Estimated delivery times after dispatch are typically:
• United States, United Kingdom, European Union: 3–10 business days
• Canada and Australia: 5–12 business days
• Other international destinations: 7–21 business days
These timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to customs procedures, postal services, high seasonal demand, weather conditions, or other circumstances outside our control.
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, shipping method, and order contents.
Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our side.
5. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
For orders shipped outside the European Union, customs duties, VAT, or import charges may apply.
These charges are determined by local authorities and are the responsibility of the customer.
6. Digital Products (Ebooks and Downloads)
Digital products are delivered electronically.
After successful payment, customers will receive access via:
• an on-screen download link and/or
• an email containing download instructions
Delivery is usually immediate but may take a few minutes depending on payment processing.
If you do not receive access within 30 minutes, please contact us.
In accordance with EU consumer protection law, digital products are non-refundable once access has been granted or the download has begun.
7. Second-Hand or Special Items
Some products may be offered as second-hand, limited availability, or special edition items.
Where applicable, the condition of second-hand products will be described on the product page.
Delivery times for these items may vary depending on fulfilment arrangements.
8. Incorrect or Incomplete Address
Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address at checkout.
We are not responsible for delays or delivery issues resulting from incorrect address information.
If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, we may offer reshipment at the customer’s expense.
9. Damaged, Lost, or Missing Orders
If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us at customerservicebookshop@linguisticapro.com.
Please include:
• your order number
• a description of the issue
• photos in case of damage
We will investigate the matter and provide a replacement or refund where appropriate.
10. Pre-Orders
Pre-order items will be shipped on or shortly after the release date stated on the product page.
If your order contains both pre-order and available items, products may ship separately depending on fulfilment logistics.
11. Customer Support Response Time
We aim to respond to customer service inquiries within 48 hours on business days.
During busy periods, response times may be slightly longer.
